During the family stay, I was welcomed by a really kind and friendly couple, Joost and Jill, with their 2 children, Malou and Mefin; I feel very lucky because I also had another future camp-mate with me in the family stay, this give us the chance to share our experiences and thoughts from the beginning of the experience.
We took many different activities, from exploring Utrecht to visiting local brands.
However, the camp experience i think that it’s my favorite part: there were 22 of us, all around the same age, I was one of the oldest, but we quickly bonded and spent a lot of time together.

We had the chance to share our culture, learning from each other, and all activities helped us grow closer as a group. 
By the end, we had become really good friends, trusting each other.
I genuinely enjoyed every single activity, as they gave us the opportunity to discover more about Dutch culture, food, traditions and the local environment.
I truly loved the whole experience. Everything was well-organized, and I would like to sincerely thank the entire staff and the Lions for making this opportunity possible.

Durante il soggiorno in famiglia, sono stata accolta da una coppia davvero gentile e amichevole, Joost e Jill, con i loro due figli, Malou e Mefin; mi sento molto fortunata perché ho avuto con me anche un’altra futura compagna del camp, il che ci ha dato la possibilità di condividere le nostre esperienze e i nostri pensieri fin dall'inizio.
Abbiamo partecipato a molte attività diverse, dall'esplorazione di Utrecht alla visita di marchi locali.
Tuttavia, credo che l'esperienza del campeggio sia la mia parte preferita: eravamo in 22, tutti più o meno della stessa età, io ero una dei più grandi, ma abbiamo legato subito e abbiamo trascorso molto tempo insieme.
Abbiamo avuto l'opportunità di condividere la nostra cultura, imparando gli uni dagli altri, e tutte le attività ci hanno aiutato ad avvicinarci come gruppo.
Alla fine, eravamo diventati ottimi amici, fidandoci l'uno dell'altro.
Ho apprezzato davvero ogni singola attività, perché ci ha dato l'opportunità di scoprire di più sulla cultura olandese, il cibo, le tradizioni e l'ambiente locale.
Ho davvero apprezzato l'intera esperienza. Tutto è stato ben organizzato e vorrei ringraziare sinceramente tutto lo staff e i Lions per aver reso possibile questa opportunità.
